Hi everyone-
I had another appointment today and moved to tray 15. My visit went very well. None of my appointments have taken very long, so it’s not inconvenient. Today instead of filing between my teeth with the thin metal strip they usually use, Dr. Fender used a small “dental power tool”.
Basically it files the teeth just a little more than the metal file to create more space so my teeth can move. Dr. Fender said that it does not damage my teeth at all to do this filing. It felt really weird but it didn’t really hurt. Dr. Fender also said he was very happy with my progress which is very encouraging to me. I like to know that everything is working like it is supposed to.
Next Day
Yesterday was the first day with tray fifteen. I definitely felt pressure from the trays. When I woke up this morning, my mouth was a little sore, but by the afternoon they didn’t really bother me much. I also noticed when I woke up that my teeth had shifted. I can mostly feel it in my bite, but it’s really becoming noticeable now which is very exciting to me. More later.
